you invest in companies that tell you ABSOLUTELY nothing about themselves?

and then blame the SEC when you lose all your investment?

What is wrong with this picture?

Are we assumed to know everything about a company, when they themselves tell us nothing? A bit simplistic. The SEC has more access than the shareholders. But no one will be notified of a possible investigation. They let fall a bomb on shareholders.
