Question..Is there some chance that the 2G PLA and The 3G PLA are somehow interwoven in the Original Contract...and that any legal action by any Party outside of the scope of ICC Arbitration would breach both 2G & 3G? Perhaps IDCC is restrained until a 3G trigger for handsets and Infrastructure has been signed.. Both Parties have been diligent not to breach their Contracts, even with Nokia's 8 or 9 Legal Attacks... IMO:IDCC's Legal actions are motivated by the provisions of their PLA and Master Agreement, which we are not privy to.Calling for NUKING Nokia for 2G , when IDCC has them on the hook for 3G may be suicidal




The call is one thing.

The reason IDCC back-peddled to the ICC, rather than using the courts to order Nokia to produce sales figures and pay the amount owed, is quite another.

We may find out the reason. But in the meantime, no one's coming up with a scenario that holds much water.
