Yes, the next step is multiple materials. We do some work with aviation, and I can tell you that one company has a long-term goal to use AM for an entire body structure. They are using it for small parts already, but the issue is certification and regulation.
I am told that LQMT bonds well with multiple types of materials, but don't know how it works with laser sintering.
