Gabor, you are a breath of fresh air on this board. With the treatment that Amarin/Vascepa have received by our public watchdog, the FDA, at times I find myself nearly unable to engage in rational thought on the issues present. It is at these waypoints that your well informed, non-emotional posts help to keep me in check. Thank you for your deliberation and insights.

HD-

"Significant" is of course relative, but to me an NCE grant would (should) at least put the pps through $2.75-ish, where it last traded on Jan 15th, and the post ADCOM high. Now maybe in the big scheme of things NCE is not as important as it once was, but an approval would change the game, at least on WS and their view and outlook of AMRN and put real pressure on the FDA. It is not only HF's (and suffering retail) we are talking about that have a horrible taste in their mouth when it comes to AMRN. The brokerage houses do as well. They got CRUSHED, analyst reputations got creamed as well as institutional clients. Remember when Art Hogan was on Kudlow in late 2012 ( I believe it was Sept-Oct of that year, pre GIA)and mentioned AMRN as one of his top picks before end of 2012? These events are important, on both sides of the trade. This is why a lack of a real management shakeup has infuriated the street. I mean, JZ is still on the board. Need I say more on that?

You mention R-IT being stopped for eff. That would be tremendous. However, what happens if AMRN looses both NCE and SPA appeal? What if FDA calls their bluff regarding stopping R-It entirely? The jury is still out on KOWA, but we are going to need a lot more than 100-150 script increase a week to afford R-It. And does the co really have "6 months" to properly evaluate KOWA deal, especially if both SPA and NCE will be decided much sooner?

Finally, I agree we haven't seen any material news during last 2 months. We still don't know. Things move quickly, and next week could be telling. But we have gone straight down since July 1st as we have gotten closer to a NCE decision. Currently, the "feel" is more along the lines of the "feel" right before ADCOM. Many here believed ADCOM was going to be a success, but something didn't feel right leading up to the date. There was no bid in the stock. Kinda feels the same way to me right now, at least at this moment. Of course, that can change....
