Kim set out the expectation with his words.
"Kim has done the impossible by some scientists standards. He made a company with an expectation of making a silkworm that expresses spider silk. Then that expectation became reality via all the right people. True but the change is yet to be proven.

I don't buy the argument that all delays could not be foreseen, considering the pletoria of scientists, field experts and advisors surrounding Kim. The bar was set high by the guy himself, it is laid out in the PRs, interviews, artcles and on the Company web site. Considering the numerous delays and unfinished stories, the guy got a lot of slack and we are reminded to give him some more?!

If Microsoft made the same type of forecast and the same type of delays, it wouldn't be in business anymore.
"He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else. Benjamin Franklin". Benjamin was correct, there have been many excuses made for Kim and the Company.
