It is no surprise to see folks with such high expectations, that hinge on some key words. Kim has done the impossible by some scientists standards. He made a company with an expectation of making a silkworm that expresses spider silk. Then that expectation became reality via all the right people. Thereby designing a ready made production factory, that has forever and dramatically changed the product it has produced, for thousands of years.

That said, he isn't going to foresee everything or get even close. Silk had to be sent back for reprocessing. There have been other foreseeable and unforeseeable delays. The point is that the bar is set high and some find it difficult to give the guy some slack. So be it.

The delay was because Charlie asked for improved processing. The only way anyone gets away from investment delays, is by not playing the game.

It is not a matter of the imagination, that Microsoft had delays. They had many and so does every company. So make room for the unexpected. If you hold yourself to perfect standards, then I am sure you know all about failure. So what is with the expectation of perfection in anyone else....even those with such huge successes?

He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else. Benjamin Franklin

....so be bigger and make excuses for others.
