That makes as much sense as this: (none!)
(WCN - 3/1/1923) WILLIAMSON MEN BUY LOCAL FORD MOTOR COMPANY

The Wayne Motor Company, of Wayne, changed hands this week when S. Jay Vinson sold the entire holdings of the company to Williamson business men. The new organization will be composed of W. F. Toney, Yates Montgomery and Charles R. McCallister, all of Williamson.

The sale includes the Wayne county agency rights for Ford and Lincoln cars together with the new three story brick building, erected last year by Vinson and the good will of the company, It is understood from reliable authority that the purchase price was near $25,000.

The deal was closed Tuesday of this week and the new owners will take possession Saturday of next week, March 10th. Mr. Toney is a native of this county and owner of the new brick filling station built last year near the local N. & W. station. He is also a stockholder in the Wayne County Bank. Mr. McCallister has been associated with the Ford agency in Williamson for four years.

The coming of the new state road through this county connecting Wayne with Williamson causes the local Ford agency to be one of the most desirable business enterprises in this section.

Again Little Ash, you just proved how sad you really are. This is only semantics (look up the word) but the article you posted was from January of 2012. Your math has been consistently been called into question and you think it is 19 months from January 8, 2012 through July 5, 2014? Want to try that again? Try closer to 30 months, but that isn't my issue. You pulled this article out for no reason...there is no reason to post this in July of 2014 without any instigation. You fabricated this whole "car split in half" discussion out of nothing and that is what your commentary is...nothing. By posting that useless article, you allowed someone to point out that Tesla had this type of accident over the holiday but the difference is...the Tesla accident was recent and there was fire but not with the Ford. I know this is a Ford board and to discuss the Ford recall is relevant but as always...you ignore the original question. Why bring up an accident from January of 2012 today? You are absolutely ludicrous and useless. You can't defend Tesla here...this is a Ford board and I am happier with an 8% recall versus a near 100% recall as was the case with Tesla. Recalls are standard in the auto industry...but you pulling out old articles is a pathetic attempt to create a baseless discussion. How sad it must be to live your life.
