If I had taken a couple of million dollars and created, even temporarily, a paper valuation of 50 million I would personally proceed very carefully. Why risk messing that up? Especially if part of what I wanted to do was to make WSGI bankable by fixing its balance sheet (on paper again). If I were holding my SP around $1 by keeping the stock from being too liquid I would also step carefully. I have no desire to say, hey look I have more than you and you are scrued! I would rather play my long term strategy out and maybe make two strong companies. Otherwise, why not convert preferred to common instantly?

I am not saying this is the way things are. I am just saying I doubt the certainty of others who say there is only one explanation. I try never to look through a straw and say this is the way things are. Always respectfully, IJO
