#153805 RE: rwehapi2003 #153804

It was for $200K and with Space Florida (not NASA). Here is the response I received from Space Florida regarding the $200K contract and the $1.5 million funding commitment that WSGI announced.

"In May of 2011, SPFL entered into a Fixed Price Contract No. 11-161 with WSGI for the purchase of limited proprietary test data. A performance data package was provided by WSGI, and the contract was concluded.

In January of 2011, SPFL entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Sanswire (now WSGI) proposing terms under which SPFL would consider providing supplemental financing in support of efforts to expand Florida's aerospace industry. After conducting due diligence, SPFL elected not to proceed with the proposed project. The letter of intent expired without the execution of a definitive agreement and without the provision of any SPFL financing."

Even if they gave us details, so what? We had plenty of information/footage when they were testing the Sanswire- TAO ship. It's woefully beyond put up or shut-up time. No?

I understand they have to test the Argus, but the questions I have is why should I get excited about it? What's different this time? Wasn't the AZ and Nevada tests a bigger deal than what's next?
