Why would such a thread be silly? Ya'll made a claim in a PR without offering any details as to why it might be true. In fact, the way it's stated in the PR essentially makes no sense (since it's the license, not the CTS that enables you to ship the NP-1 with Google Play). Maybe ya'll should write better PRs. Try to include more pertinent details if you don't want your claims questioned.

I sure don't remember you mentioning anything about $40,000, so how were we supposed know whether you did the CTS self-certification, or had an authorized certification done? Don't call me silly because you conveniently forgot to mention something.
