If you ever traveled to China, you would know that they are probably selling these machined aluminum body "iPhone 6's" in the street already. These mock-ups mean absolutely nothing to me. Also, would Apple put out decoys? Dunno.

All the blogs keep mentioning that the device is very thin, and I wonder if they can achieve that form factor with any kind of durability with aluminum. My new Apple aluminum laptop, much thicker body than an iPhone would have, already has a dent in it from something bumping into it in my briefcase.

With the new patent for joining sapphire glass to LQMT, it's certain in my mind some new product or products are coming soon with these materials. I would never underestimate Apple's ability to amaze.
