OTCdoc, thank you for posting those reads. In the article pertaining to the drones, I saw no mention of a 3D Volumetric Display, or any other display of any type, or technolgies incorporated into the display itself. The drones, "collect stereoscopic 3D imagery."

Stereoscopy (also called stereoscopics or 3D imaging) is a technique for creating or enhancing the illusion of depth in an image by means of stereopsis for binocular vision, and the core process dates back pre 1868.

As far as Zebra's sand table display, that is a flat surface 3D display, that is full parallax, sub catergory light feild display. 3DIcon is working on technology to create a true 3D volumetric display (no illusions) -apples and oranges in the realm.

OTCdoc...3Dicons C-Space volumetric 3d viewing experiance is far more advanced and a completely different technolgy than the Octocopers cameras (2 Sterioscopic 3d CAMERAS ) that takes images that are only then displayed on a 2d screenThe Octocoper is a rotating camera that takes 3d images and without C-Space they have no way to view thier images in real volumetric 3D like everyone else who captures 3D Data. And as far as 3D Fusion they are doing glasses free 3D off a 2D screen the OLD WAY.3Dicon C-Space is a real 3d volumetric image ,not projected off a 2D screen like the glasses free 3d Fusion technology.OLD NEWS
