Pyrrhonian: The truth is, following this board continually is a lot of work. And the ups and downs lately are draining. Last week when they announced it was happy hour (Friday), I was shocked. I thought it was Tuesday. Well maybe that's just me. But my recent involuntary vacation was a good rest. And good to step back from it once in a while. This is sort of an addiction.

But I hope you fall off the wagon soon. And thank you again for so skillfully and thoughtfully responding to the recent dishonest attacks. I have been around a lot of smart people in my life, and I no longer respect that, in and of itself. But you have shown you have substance beyond smarts.

Pyrr, thanks a ton for all the research you have done, and for taking the time out to put it all together so thoroughly. And also for having responded to questions and comments to your articles. Much appreciated, mate.

And as highwayman states, it's not just your direct contribution we appreciate so much. It's also the fact that your presence here has encouraged some stalwarts of the Board to come back and join in on some of the best discussions I have ever seen. A big thanks to you and to everyone who has contributed their well-researched ideas and thoughts.

Do drop by every now and then, whenever time from work permits, of course. And till we see you again, be well and keep up the quest.

Just wanted to join the love-in and say thanks for sharing your research.
Your thorough (and borderline compulsive) investigations and considered assumptions are much appreciated.
I can completely understand the need to step away from it. I barely have time to read what you write, let alone research, compose and respond so thoughtfully.
(I've only just now read the post I'm responding to and already there are 3-4 more pages of new posts to read (of which, I tend only to scan for posters who's opinions I trust, such as yourself, so don't stay away to long ;) ))
