Are Swatch watches consider consumer electronics? Don't think so. IWatch will be worn on the wrist but is really a little computer.

I believe that the premise came about due to a possible infringement of Swatch's exclusive patent rights granted by LQMT for any usage in the area of timepieces or watches.

At one time, Swatch, I believe, indicated some possibility of infringement and even publicly commented about that.

However, to this day, I am not sure what discussions were made, if any, between LQMT Apple and Swatch to resolve any conflicts of interest, if in fact, there were any.

So the discussion is totally hypothetical, in my opinion.

Each is left to draw one's own conclusion, based upon suppositions, unless of course someone is able to come up with some definitive factsfacts which may support what is truetrue.
