I called the Canadian Securities Exchange yesterday - the press release said Canadian Stock Exchange but that isn't accurate.
I asked a very specific question - could a US company that had a trading halt from the Alberta Securities Commission be listed on the CSE?
The answer was no - not until the trading halt was lifted.
The same problems would arise for a merger.
Since the ASC issued a press release stating AEGY had filed a false and misleading 8-k - I doubt they will be very helpful with lifting the trading halt. Especially since they have been working closely with the SEC.
If all of those hurdles are cleared - I would think the it would be a deal similar to what they stated about merging with SKTO.
But, CGardner would be the person to ask or Integral I think both have been involved with mergers between US and foreign companies.
Oh, the CSE has recently signed a agreement for its companies to be listed on OTCM - so that might be another issue. IG
