Well said Fly! At the end of the day, for ANY shareholder (Glenn et al included, but excluding spectators such as Ren), the only bottom line that counts is SHARE PRICE.
It is rather telling that the only defenders of GE's legacy live in Florida and gave little to NO shares. If they had believed in GE from the start, why did they not buy in with the conviction of real dollars and much earlier?! They would then not only have head knowledge, but also good perspective as people who put in hard earned money and actually affected by GE's decisions and observable inability to bear fruit.
DP deserves credit and our sincere thanks for bearing his share of fruit despite the neglect and non-investment. We have yet to see ANY yield from GE. His time is soon up IMO. For his own good (he now has accumulated many many many options by bringing down sp and maintaining his own salary through the years at a ridiculous $250k despite not generating sufficient value) and ours, he needs to find a proven CEO who can actually make positive difference to shareholder value. By stepping aside for a more capable person who knows whassup, he too has much to gain.
