getting "sent" to the grey market is not directly due to the suspension; it's a consequence of no MM's entering quotes for 4 trading days (they aren't allowed to enter quotes during suspension, the suspension goes beyond 4 days, therefore SEC Rule 15c2-11 kicks in to prohibit normal pink sheet trading). so the SEC would have to lift the suspension in time for MM's to begin entering quotes before the 4 days run. as far as anyone seems to know, the SEC has never lifted a suspension prior to the 10 trading day period, let alone prior to the 4 day period.
