re: "...But when it goes from simply having an opposing view to trying to manipulate the stock price for personal gain there is a problem..."
and who/how, pray-tell, could someone make such a judgement?
how would/could one know what the "intent" of a poster might be?...regardless whether its an "enthusiastic" post or a "critical" one
answer: its impossible

re: "... I don't think bashers serve a purpose and I say that because of the way they voice their opinion..."
and how is that murray?
lets take me as an example [an individual that others have pretty much universally determined is a "basher"]
generally when i come to a board i post straight DD with links, references, etc...and many/most of the times am addressing another posters comments
99% of the time whats the "response"?
personal attacks, character assassination, libelous remarks, etc...and after poster after poster follows suit with that type of "response", wouldnt you expect at least some sarcastic comments in return?

re: "...but when it is done over and over and over there is a problem. The same goes for too much cheerleading. That is equally as bad if done in poor taste and ad nauseum..."
well, i agree with you there, lol...but are those repetitive, overly "enthusiastic" posts dealt with equitably?
...hardly

general observation: it appears to me that the environment @ ihub is quickly morphing into something far less palatable than its early days
i fully understand that with more members come more issues...but one thing that should never change/waver is the integrity of the site...and imo, "sadly", it may be slipping away
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BKMP! ;)
