Will not affect you. You will have lost all of your investment in it long before then. People don't buy shells to make former shareholders rich. They buy shells as a means to dump worthless paper on the NEXT set of victims.
It's legal as a technicality and no one is clamoring to close the loophole. Every means to fix such blatantly sleazy technicalities will be shouted down by thousands of potential victims.
Just look at what happens when a stock gets a DTC chill. Instead of being thankful that their brokerage will not allow trading in such garbage, they'll scramble to find a brokerage that will allow them to trade in such crap and lose it all.
You lost your money. Accept it. Put your money in legitimate efforts and if you have any spare time at all, pay it forward and become a basher like us. Every death threat you then receive will be proof that you are doing something worthwhile.
