Yes Flipper; something more nefarious than I have been talking about is going on. 3 Million shares traded yet only a 1.6% SP increase on this news.... something very screwed up is going on. This stock seems to be very vulnerable to this.
Would it be legal for NW to spend that $15M they recently acquired on their own stock, and then announce the repurchase afterwards? If so, they may have already done the purchase. However... it is possible they are waiting for the right time to squeeze the last breath out of the shorts as they descend into short hell.
Best time to do so would be before the shorts can escape, but after a nail-in-the-coffin PR. But with a 3M share trade volume already, it looks like a lot of the shorts may have already escaped... once again. Damn that AF!
