Seems highly unlikely it's our Mill
that the water permit was for.
Legal notice states:
Water will be diverted from an underground source at a point . . approx. 9 miles WNW of Winnemucca, Nevada, from which the SW corner of said Section 09 (T36N, R36E) bears S 48 degrees 29 minutes 20 seconds W., a distance of 1,219 feet.
Then it went on to say:
The existing point of diversion . . at a point from which the E1/4 corner of said Section 06 (T35N, R37E) bears N 64 degrees 08 minutes E, a distance of 3,028.00 feet.
(which doesn't make sense because the top Township and Range to the bottom Township and Range is a Southeast bearing)
Lovelock is approx. 73 miles SW of Winnemucca. No way are we gonna run a water line for 73 miles. That would be a Major Engineering project.
Anyway evidence shows it's Not our Mill that the water permit was for.
However, Western Lithium (which is way north of us) is developing its Kings Valley (Nevada) lithium deposit, which puts the Water Application More into their backyard. Lets hope the reason is Not because of Tesla's potential move into Nevada.
