Haha neither would you talk to me like that. You keep mentioning that I am trying to "blame" someone? I don't even get your point. I just suspect some sort of foul play here just like a few other people on this board do and state my view. Am I not allowed? I DO NOT like this deal one bit as per current knowledge of it. As per what was released by the company and in trying to probe the new one, which is currently a mystery box. That in itself does not appear kosher to me. Whether there are protective clauses for us, I do not know and neither was it communicated by the company which causes concern to me. Kindly refrain from telling me I don't have the right to express myself. You should read the constitution explaining our rights.

You don't even know me at all either. So I would request you do your due diligence before accusing me of being an insecure tough GUY bully or not doing any due diligence. You fall into the fallacy of total innacuracy in that department. Judge not. No one made you judge and jury.

While I agree that some short term stability is obtained through this fire sale, I also am very disappointed by the curtailment of the upside should a contract be near. Most especially as it had been the prime focus of the company these few years and lauded by many on this board as a potential blockbuster. "Baseline status" and all.

I do not know of "plans" or "honor" or "influence" as per Indy's allusions. One thing I do know about contract law is that "plans" are forward looking statements that are non enforceable. I also know that "influence" can be good or bad and dependent on agendas of those we do not know and cannot influence as shareholders.

I am happy to be sleeping in the back seat for a ride provided I trust the person driving and know where we are headed. I don't currently trust or know the person driving this, and it seems unclear to me where we are headed as of right now. The ride I signed up for was different. Suddenly the car has been sold midway and we have a different route and/ or destination. You are right that I do feel insecure. I am insecure due to my current inability to determine where we are headed, and that is caused by this sudden shift by management. I feel short changed by this sale. Hence my protests. Got it?

Really such ridiculous posturing between the two of you. To say this was a realistic likelihood is simply inadequate yet to say it was a completely impossible remedy to their financial situation is just as inadequate.

The potential litigation going forward will likely be decide on what types of near term contracts evolve that were likely known to be happening. That part is quite simple. Likewise there will need be more understanding of what DAC represents and their plans going forward to know any value of the sale. Obviously GE has had those discussions and of course much would come out in depositions and interrogatories should this move to litigation. To me that is premature but I agree with Rattle there are fishy elements to the timing and motivations for this sale and lack of clarity is obvious as no one knows anything regarding the DAC concern. We simply don't have enough answers to decide that course of action but it is certainly a potential.
