Darn it buz, you didn't bite on this post so I'll see if this will get you.
Might LPC be able to secure a seat on the BOD with a 17% stake in the company? A 10% stake? What other influence might they be able to wield if LWLG instructs them to buy the full (or large partial) amount of shares provided for by the agreement? Assuming they don't sell any, which so far they haven't done in volume according to the 10k.
Interesting scenarios can be conjured up with a heavily invested Board member.
BTW, the SEC has a site where investors can ask general questions. I did so, citing the Corning Agreement and asking why an 8k wouldn't be required. Today I rec'd a call from an SEC Representative (almost fell off my chair). He said large tech companies do this type of thing all the time so it's not unusual. I specifically asked if an 8k would be required if any stock, cash, or other compensation changed hands and he said most definitely, yes. So now we know for sure, Corning gave us the worldwide rights to their patents.
