Sanswired: My issue is that he now has two positions, walk away and now stay. We all want a positive conclusion with this Russian deal, but if Huff's intention was to re-negotiate the contract, why in the world would he state Monday that Friday was the drop dead day? It would have been better to say by Friday if the banks/Investors still can't get their issues resolved, GTE will try and re-negotiate the contract. But that's not the position he took Monday. That's my only issue. ken w

Sanswired...IF the deal falls through....THEN you can express your good faith at negotiating another deal...WHY ANNOUNCE IT BEFORE THE FACT...? What good does that do...he just undermined himself completely from the last PR, where he played hardball with them...Friday's deadline means a lot less now.
