The PR stated: "Kraig previously shipped Monster Silk™ yarn to Warwick, which after studying the material, requested that it be processed to additional specifications."

WM likely wants a consistant product that meets their standards and wants to ensure that Kim can deliver that product, so lettimg him know what they are looking for and having him meet those standards would ensure that Kim will deliver a similar quality product in the future.

I am curious on why they had to give "additional" specifications on how to process the silk. Was there something wrong with it that they weren't expecting or was it something that should have been done in the first place that would be self-evident to anyone working in the textile industry for a period of time?

Either way, hopefully this next/reprocessed batch will weave successfully and we can get a viable product out of it. I am hoping that it does not take months to accomplish. As it has been said by another here: it is a setback, but not a show stopper.

I'm not sure what to make of this... But I read this as they sent our stuff back to us, we made some changes and they now have it back. My assumption, and it's only a guess, is that the second batch met some baseline requirement because they are now preparing to weave samples. I don't believe Kim would PR this without confirmation that the new materials were useable.... If he did, huge mistake.

My concern from this is it states Warwick is preparing samples. To me, this means that the timeline is extended 6 months because whoever they plan to send the samples to will need time to test to determine if the product is viable - much less a better and/or cheaper alternative. I thought this was done back in January. Next question then becomes why PR metric tons mid year if this is where we are?
