Randomwalk, yes the interest is deductible, but dollars saved can help the bottom line! For years I used the loan value of my insurance policies to an advantage, but now, no. The difference in the rate of interest that I now receive on cd's is such that I have repaid the insurance loans. I see no real advantage for Idcc to have such a small loan and to not pay it off. Just my opinion! tucker
