Imagine the odds of either company dropping in price dramatically, making your investment worthless.
If this is something that upsets you, don't invest in either.
As cliche as it sounds, don't invest what you can't afford to lose.

As for 3DIcon suddenly doubling in the next 30 days?
Look through any week's worth of posts from the last 5 years on this board, most of them describe how its just about to skyrocket any day now, but never does.

Keep that in mind when assessing 'a sure thing'.
