Bingo! Intel is no doubt collecting and documenting each and
every scrap of self-congratulatory braggadocio from AMD
executives and officers and will throw it back in their face if
the suite goes to trial to show how mendacious and hypocr-
itical AMD is in claiming Intel practices have damaged them.

Maybe if AMD keeps flapping its mouth like this Intel could
press the judge to summarily dismiss the suite as without
merit.

Beamer, I think AMD is hoping that, even if they win or lose, they will have still gotten the public's attention.

The public hates frivolous lawsuits. AMD could get away with it if Intel could be portrayed as the Enron of semiconductors, but as you know, this isn't The Matrix.
