Thanks for your post, JB. My Easter greetings to you,

It was a good idea to quote that particular post back from March 13th. It says so much, as it comes from the right level and the very best setting (HIMSS conference).

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

My Easter greeting comes with this first hand account of Sphere 3D's Glassware 2.0 in action at the recent HIMSS Conference (thank you van and Mike) -

Dont think that is needed right now.

At HIMSS conference they were able to show off Glassware to EVERY major healthcare player in person (healthcare is 2nd largest buyer of cloud computing pdts/services second to US Govt). In my opinion, an ad doesnt convey what the product can do.

A very large company approached them with a fob that had their very involved program on it (yes I was there when they did it). They wanted it virtualized for the devices they use (iPad, Chromebook and a couple laptops). Spiffy virtualized it and then spent the next hour watching their executives and sales staff play with it on the devices. An hour later more sales guys and higher ups came to see it.

This was just ONE program but it represents BILLIONS in revenue for just this one company. There were other demos but this program (according to the company) couldnt be virtualized.

Also, I met the head sales guy for Sphere 3D. The company hasn't made a big deal about his recent arrival but I assure you his Rolodex is quite extensive. My understanding is that he alone (no sales team) generated approx $180M in sales in last 18 months.

"Spiffy virtualized it" -- "(according to the company) couldn't be virtualized". HAPPY EASTER!!!

JB3729, thank you to bring this back to our attention:

Was it Dell, AGFA, CareCloud or other?
CareCloud's progression gives us a good idea of the IT Healthcare market potential. But simultaneously, their PR also makes is very clear that they are a good potential customer for Glassware 2.0

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CareCloud, the leading provider of cloud-based practice management, electronic health records (EHR), and medical billing software and services, today announced it had added a record number of new clients - more than 170 – to its platform in the first quarter of 2014. The Company also reported its 17th consecutive quarter of year-over-year triple-digit revenue growth. During the quarter, CareCloud also launched two innovative new product offerings: Companion, a mobile app that allows physicians to manage their practice on the go, via their iPad, iPad mini, iPhone, or iPod touch; and CollectiveIQ, an automated billing rules product that helps practices to improve collections and reduce administrative costs. In January, Forbes named CareCloud to its prestigious annual list of “America’s Most Promising Companies.”

“CareCloud achieved new sales records during the first quarter, while continuing our march up market to serve larger, multi-specialty medical groups”

“CareCloud achieved new sales records during the first quarter, while continuing our march up market to serve larger, multi-specialty medical groups,” said Albert Santalo, CareCloud’s Chairman and CEO. “Meanwhile, our company focused on product innovation that affords our physician customers the ability to modernize and thus, better manage their practices.”

Continued Innovation Results In An Expanded Product Offering

In February, CareCloud launched a new mobile app, CareCloud Companion, which allows providers to access patient records, view schedules, and manage clinical tasks from their mobile devices. Companion is optimized for iOS 7, Apple’s newest mobile operating system and lets providers securely log onto the CareCloud platform from any location, making access to practice and patient information easy.

The Company also launched its advanced billing rules product, CollectiveIQ, in March. This new product draws from a knowledgebase of more than 81 million Medicare and commercial payer rules that helps medical practices increase collections and margins through faster, more accurate claims submission. CollectiveIQ is built directly into CareCloud’s practice management apps, allowing staff to proactively fix billing issues without having to leave the user interface of CareCloud Central.
