#11571 RE: W&T Capital LLC #11570

The release of the title of the ASCO abstract will tell us longs a lot. I expect that our pps will increase next week but not explode. For me, the title of the abstract will tell us what to expect at ASCO where the real fireworks will begin and a huge rise in pps will occur thereafter. For me, this coming Monday is kind of like last week where Punit spilled the beans about presenting at ASCO (we had waited a long time for even that news). Even though it didn't affect the pps (in fact went down slightly) it affect my investing decisions. I already owned 330,000 shares before that that I was not planning to sell until at least a year from purchase or longer. However, his announcement spurred me to find more money and play the ASCO data release on a short term basis as well while keeping my long term position in place.

All in all, I think most people here are excited to find out more pieces of the puzzle and that is very exciting. For example, as lasers pointed out, the same author can present two abstracts at ASCO. Could it be that the data is melanoma and Merkel cell or melanoma an cutaneous t-cell, or just melanoma alone, etc.? If the title has multiple data releases, this could further guide investment decisions. So, we will see.

I hear what you're saying Tremors.
Personally, I'm not expecting much on Monday in terms of PPS, or even a PR for that matter. Would I like one? Yes, but I know on this board, and on Yahoo, even the longest of longs have been dissapointed many times due to an anticipated Monday morning PR that never came.
It doesn't bother me if we don't get a PR about ASCO on Monday. I am more interested in seeing what kind of presentation we are going to be doing at ASCO, based on what the details ASCO publishes on their Website Monday morning, or through a PR, if we get one.
I feel this way, for the same reasons BrotherBear eluded to in his recent argument. I think that the Upper Management has a solid strategy in place, and they will release PR when they feel it's the right time. Management thus far has done nothing but create gains for me, so I can't complain.
Even if they do release a PR i'm not expecting a massive spike in PPS. Would I be happy if the PPS did take off by annoucing ASCO? Of course, been with ONCS a long time, and it's exciting to see things starting to come together. Without a PR though, I can't imagine a massive increase in PPS. Even with, it might be unlikely.
I would caution those who get too excited about a big PR that doesn't come on Monday. However, I think most, if not all people on this board know what's brewing, and are just excited about seeing what we're presenting at ASCO. Whether it comes straight from the source, or a PR is irrelevant to the longs that do a lot of DD, because like you said "good things are around the corner." I think to most people on here, finally figuring out what we're presenting is more exciting than a 8 cent rise in PPS. IMO, I think we are more likely to see a PPS run up stating tomorrow until ASCO, but maybe not an immediate one.
We're still a relatively unknown, but that will start to change come Monday!
Sorry if I sound jaded. Personally I don't really care what happens with the PPS on Monday, nor am I expecting anything to happen. With all the catalysts ONCS has lined up, by the time ASCO conference comes around we will have a much higher PPS, and that's really all that matters. Watching this day to day PPS, will make a person go crazy. Take last week, for example! $ONCS
