pro_se -- that's a(n even bigger) federal issue, and one faced by all other states, as well, of course -- inherent in using gas/hydrocarbon fuel taxes to support roads and highways

I'd guess/bet it won't be too long till such taxes will be transitioned to/replaced with a type of vehicle by miles per period setup, with the info collected via automatic wireless queries of/reporting by vehicles (hardly a daring guess/bet, as folks have been and continue working on and advocating for the same)
