Thank's for the opportunity to clarify what I'm seeing. I was concerned that investors would miss this. Below is the notice that you pointed out on SEDAR from May 1st, 2013.

I circled the important dates in red to make them easier to spot. As you can see Banro sent the Notice on May 28th, 2013 for the June 28th, 2013 shareholders meeting. It was in that notice that Banro informed shareholders what they would be voting on.

It is also interesting to note that Banro filed that on SEDAR on May 1st, 2013 two weeks later than this year's April 16th, 2014 posting. I have gone through every other Notice of Record and Meeting Dates and have not found another with 45 days notice. I believe 31 days is the longest I've found.

If I find something in the by-laws that require a 45 day notice I will post it on the board but I need to reiterate my caution that even if I do it is not proof of anything. That May 12th date is the important one as it we should find out what we'll be voting on.

Buy and hold isn't a bad plan. There is a group of us on this board doing some pretty in-depth due diligence and our consensus is to buy, hold AND accumulate. Should we uncover something unsettling that will no doubt change but until then accumulation seems wise when almost 8.7 of every 10 shares is owned by institutions and 4.2 of those were bought in just the last several months.
