"The fact is that the current version of Zicam is labelled as a homeopathic product"

True.

"and it does contain active ingredients 'Zincum aceticum' and 'Zincum gluconicum'".

False. One of the oddities of the homeopathic regulations is that although as any chemist will tell you, the solutions are diluted so many times that not one molecule of so-called active material remains in the solution dispensed, the manufacturer cam still label it as if it does. Everybody who is tempted to take a homeopathic "medicine" should be aware of this fact.

"All of this information can be viewed on the web site and on the product packaging."

True, but the bit about active ingredients is actually misinformation for the reasons I have explained above.

"Your inference that all homeopathic products are placebos/plain water clearly doesn't fit in the case of the current version of Zicam."

It's not an "inference", it's a statement of fact. Ask any chemist, pharmacist or science teacher.

"It therefore isn't a theory that holds up as a general statement. For this reason, it isn't reasonable to apply it to Emesyl, especially since the active ingredients are not even known to the public.! "

Again, you couldn't be more wrong. If Emesyl were ever to be launched (it won't be) it would contain no active ingredients. Everybody who understands homeopathy knows this to be true.

"Please don't confuse allopathic drugs like the original zinc containing Zicam formulations with homeopathic medicines (such as the latest version of Zicam) that are currently being sold successfully today. "

I never did. You however continue to do so and should not.
