IMO:The IDCC/Nokia agreement has a rate established..IDCC could not announce the range of money for 2002 being owed between $100 Million-$120 Million without a percentage to attach to THIRD party sales figures..The Contract in 1999 left open several options that would trigger the payment.,.IDCC legal with the Nokia contract in front of them..and having finished a FIRM contract with Sony/Ericsson and ERICSSON has rendered a legal opinion that Nokia is OBLIGATED to legally pay..What is unknown is whether Nokia Legal comes to the same conclusion after reviewing the Ericsson contract, agree to their previous rate agreement and the amount of product that is covered by that rate.No one on this Board has the benefit of reading the entire 1999 Contract and the 2003 Contract with Ericsson..EXCEPT IDCC MANAGEMENT.
