Then again lack of regulation was what nearly destroyed the economy in the first place.

Now we are looking at over-regulation in favor of the grand scheme of the market, but one that is about to suck millions upon millions of dollars out of investors in a single blow.

We don't know the facts at all yet, but it has been fun speculating.

I still believe in the business plan, no matter who turns out to be the guilty party.

For those who have said the pr released was unprofessional - I actually ran it by a lawyer with over 40 years of experience who remarked it was well drafted but had 'lawyer' written all over it.

Bashing the pr because you're upset at the company is one thing, but I for one am happy to see fight instead of flight.

Have you ever read the Securities Exchange Act 1934? It is in there in black and white as to what the SEC may do in regards to section 12k specifically, it is called TRADING SUSPENSION;EMERGENCY AUTHORITY. As such under the Code of Federal Rules they are given the AUTHORITY to do such.

Crystal clear that they may suspend any security for a period of 10 days that they deem to be in interest of investor protection. The Act is not concerned about protecting present investors because they have already assumed the risk of their own Due Diligence, it is to protect against future "investors" from making the same mistake.

Do you even know "why" the stock was halted?

The SEC could be right to halt the stock if PHOT is doing things that they shouldn't be doing..

I understand some folks are mad but they must have broken some rule/s if the stock got halted..

I'm going to re-evaluate after more information is known.. If these guys are putting out PR's and people close to the company are trading off that knowledge or if they are putting out in accurate info to move the pps in one direction or another, people should be glad that the SEC stepped in..

I fell bad for the longs but if there is "fire" here, then PHOT deserves what they got because it is hard enough trading in the OTC. It is hard trading MJ stocks in the OTC.. We don't need bad actors that will taint the entire industry and chase away potential new investors with nefarious acts..

Just Saying..

"The S.E.C. has done everything in it's formidable power to damage or destroy a legitimate business concern,"

LOL....there is a lot more they can do. They can bring Adminstrative action before an Adminstrative law judge, they can bring civil action in Federal Court or they could refer to the DOJ for criminal action.

They may just be getting started.
