yep, I'm a good person too, in fact, I wear a cross around my neck, so there! Anyway, I like you, don't like it when fear mongers (shorts) like to mislead investors for their own gain. Thank you and God bless you too!

Stocks in bear markets always sheds as much in the last sell-off before the rally, as it does during the entire sell off. So if you bought the stock at $5 and now it trades at .50 that's a 90% loss. You have to understand it's also realistic for somebody else to buy in at .75 and they can easily loose 50%-75% in a couple days right before it heads higher, It happens all the time, over and over again to make it a bottom that will stick, we need to see the new set of investors loose as much as the longstanding investors, in a very short time. It would be the final capitulation that would be the do all and end all for the current bear market Banro is experiencing. But what is happening now to the stock, is not from the price of Gold falling, but because the stock market is on the brink of total collapse ans it's starting to sell off. If indeed the market is selling off, like I suspect, there will be no safe-havens, even the golden babies i suspect will be thrown out with the bathwater. Gold price can still rise, however unless it's a dramatic take-off up past $1450, I expect troubled waters ahead and gold stocks may or may not participate.

Buddy, thanks for the "insider information".

Should this be true, I hope your uncle and you spend some quality time in the pen picking up the soap. BAA

Welcome to the Banro board on iHub. This board far and away is one of the classiest on iHub. There may be a few feathers ruffled now and then but Banro has a very strong set of investors!

As we now watch BAA march north I'll cover some of the reasons we are as confident as anyone can be in a 50 cent gold company.

First and foremost is the institutional investment level of over 46%. In fact the Q1 filings have made it quite likely that Banro will be shown to be over 50% institutionally owned when the latest numbers are released in 30 to 40 days.

http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/baa/institutional-holdings

How important is institutional ownership? We just witnessed that. For the 4th time the RSI was driven down to 36 and then again repelled the onslaught. There just aren't enough shares available to sell Banro down any further. The institutions aren't selling, we know this because they would be required to file a form. Likewise the insiders. I'm confident many of the small investors are holding and I count myself among them.

Next up we have the fact that Banro is 98% on the construction of their second mine that is estimated to produce more than 9,000 ounces a month! Once completed Banro will like produce a minimum of 18,000 ounces per month and because of their recent equipment upgrades producing over 20,000 is expected to occur frequently.

Outside of Banro itself we have a gold crazy world. The Chinese are buying the metal, the Russians are buying the paper and the Indians are providing liquidity which is allowing everyone to take larger risks which in turn increases demand and as we all know the higher the demand the higher the price of gold!

There are many other reasons to be bullish on Banro and when I have a little more time I will go over them in detail.

There are many here that are heavily invested including myself. As you've seen heavily invested people can become highly agitated...and really who wouldn't? Banro is more than just a high risk / high reward investment to some and again including myself. Banro is a fun company to root for and while it is rare for me I've invested emotions in this company in addition to my money.

With that said disrespect has never gotten me anywhere. I also never pass up a good opportunity to build character. Thanks for dropping in and I look forward to talking with you.
