Gramercy, BlackRock, Franklin, Van Eck and other institutions that own over 46% of Banro would not allow Banro to declare bankruptcy.

In fact...before a public company CAN declare bankruptcy they would need to receive over 50% shareholder approval or have a proxy vote. The only other way would be a court ordered bankruptcy and since Banro hasn't missed any payments that is pretty unlikely.

Tech, Specaround, Investorwisdon, Braised...can you address this. I cannot think of any reason why Banro would even think about this when they are planned on pulling 180-200K Oz of gold out of the ground, if production was nil then so be it! Please provide your feedback, much appreciated! Thanks

This must be the most untruthful post on the whole hub. Years of exploration, special legislation, immense CaPex, readily available financing and profits even with depressed gold prices would only make a lunatic declare bankruptcy. Watch Banro shine in a year or two. Watch Loncor become the next Banro in 3 to 4 years. The same guy who did original exploration for Banro is now exploring for Loncor. Loncor will go through dilution though before any position in it will make sense.
