#6832 RE: Dragon Lady #6831

First of all the purpose of me posting that was to discuss the adipose treatment for cardiovascular versus Myocell. I hope that clarifies for those that are confused about the Angel trial versus Myocell trials. I asked this back late last year while doing my due diligence.

Response from Mike when I asked about the kits and machine versus Adipocell:

"we will definitely will roll out more information as we work on other applications; the international studies for lower/critical limb ischemia we have already published and I am sure you have seen those. On patents, approximately fifty years ago, Dr. Martin Rodbell and his team began researching the obtaining of cells from adipose (fat) tissue. Thomas Jefferson University was awarded a patent on April 11, 1989 (patent #4,820,626), for a method of obtaining cells from adipose tissue.

Prior to the Bioheart, many scientists had researched the use of adipose stem cells. There are currently dozens of commercially-available “kits” to isolate these cells from adipose tissue. These kits range from a completely manual method of isolation meaning that the isolation process requires a technician to complete a majority of the steps, to an automated procedure which requires loading of sample into a device which completes the isolation process.

Some of the companies that produce commercially-available adipose stem cell kits or procedures: Adistem, Medivet, Invitrx, Cytori, GID Group, Tissue Genesis, Adicyte, Life Technologies, Vet Stem, Cell Tex, Intellicell, RNL Labs, MediKhan, and Ingeneron. We just happen to like Invitrx but we have used others before. Hope this helps.

Mike"
