CWIR....I can't put your numbers in perspective because I am inclined to believe a single share can be traded many times from one entity to another....they change hands in trades like a dollar bill is passed on thru many hands...the 50/50 thing is over looked by many
I would have to disagree with this logic, if pull that same data for any stock, your not going to get an accurate read on its A/S or O/S.
You would need to test it with multiple stocks, to compare, to make it a valid claim, i tested it with 2 other stocks (where i can see updated A/S and O/S.. and it is no where even close to accurate.
I think that the float has been locked up however and we are trading thinner than we are. a 1.9bil O/S seems to be accurate, the Float seems thin... or alot of investors are holding tight on those shares..
