From 1999- present...from yahoo

10,856,897,100 shares have been traded...

There are always questions to the type of trades they are...

Though in general if you apply 50/50 buy to sell the number are close...

As every seller has to have a buyer...

That leave....roughly the O/S at 5,428,448,550...

The reported O/S is 1,954,192,451...

There is a rhyme and reason for everything
