blueskywaves: I remember Dec 29, 1999 well... IDCC finished up $25 stinking dollars that day!! I could have sold that day, or a couple of days after. I know I would have paid capital gains taxes up the ASS, and would have most certainly re-invested the proceeds into the fangs of an upcoming bear market.
I didn't, and you know what??? I think I'm happy as Hell that I didn't sell. My belief in this company has only growen stronger at each turn since 2000. I have been rewarded for that. I was unemployed for most almost 8 months starting in Sept. 2001 and never once sold a share. I rewarded myself right before my second day of work at my new job in 2002 by buying all of 100 shares of IDCC.
Yes, I now hold over 35,000 shares!!!(woops.....take a zero away from that!) HAHA..... and nobody is getting my shares of IDCC unless IDCC gets bought out or teecee tells me to sell.
