I wonder if we pointed out the addicts to Matt, would he throw them in here until they complete the program?
We could start a 12 step program for them and they can't get out until its completed.
Something like this.
1. We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our posting has become extreme beyond belief.
2. Came to believe that Matt could restore us to sanity
3. Made a decision to turn our keyboard and mouse off for at least 5 minutes each day.
4. Made an inventory of our postings to see the extent of our problem
5. Admitted to ourselves and to another human being, (if we can find one other than online) the exact nature of our wrongs
6. Were entirely ready to have our ISP disconnect us from the cyberworld.
7. Humbly asked to have 5 of our monitors removed.
8. Made a list of all persons we had PM'd, willing to send them a card instead
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would annoy them or others
10. Continued to count our posts and when these were excessive promptly admitted it
11. Sought through communication with people in our house to find out what has been going on in their lives since they were born. (This may be difficult with them off at college)
12. Having had a awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts by posting continuously on Ihub about our experience and thereby negating all the effort that has gone into this endeavor.
