Seeing that twitter post and then having it being deleted makes me even more confident that that twitter account was Legit.

It wouldn't be legal for Dawson to announce that information until a PR is issued. The fact that certain posts were deleted before the entire account indicates that someone told him he was making a legal mistake.

If that account was just a clever scheme from a pumper the twitter feed would've remained active at least until the market closed this week at the minimum.
