As I see it, the real problem here lies with the perception that Bob brought a cadre of evildoers to our humble board.
With their arrival at about the same time as Bob and their apparent rapport with each other and Bob there is reason to raise that question. However, if actions fail to support it another possibility must be considered. As far as I can tell at least two of the alleged cadre are discomfited due to posts being deleted and not reinstated by Bob. This is in keeping with established practice on this service.
Further, Bob, in setting up the "badbob" board established the right of a CoB to establish additional rules outside of those already dictated by IHUB. I am comfortable with his right as a CoB to do so. Since I am uncomfortable with those rules I exercise my privilege to post elsewhere. That is the way the game is played.
Some folks seem to think that only certain CoB's should have that right. But by taking a CoB position and following the rules already in place Bob has shown all CoB's how to manage a board. This BTW, is a good example of a SuperModerator's role. I am sure that ideally, Bob would prefer to be invisible to the average user only needing to swoop down and cleanse an out of control board as a last resort.
Perhaps, Bob has been the victim of abuse by this so-called cadre in that they have demanded special treatment for helping the Admin. He may be aware of their duplicity and seeks to correct the aforementioned perception.
At this point only Bob knows whether or not the perception is correct or if something else entirely is afoot.
