well the 5k is the thing that most cant do. I think that a portfolio should hold a MINIMUM of 10 stocks. Thats 50k invested in just 10 stocks and that IMO is WAYYYYYY minimum.

I probably hold 125 with amounts placed in them on a sliding scale based on a sliding scale or value or whatever worth I attibute upon my point of accumulation.

Ill hold as little as $50 bucks in a sleeper secuity with no OS who only trades once ever 4 years and has no reason to trade to $5000 in something that deseves it. Have a ton of $100, $250, $500, $750, etc positions all on a sliding scale based upon run probability

As far as losses go at my entry I am usually not to concerned. USUALLY.
