Just following up with the Lorraine response to the NP-1 question which has caused quite a bit of confusion on this board. Here is the link:

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=97133097

After some discussion with the poster in PMs, he did in fact point out that 2 questions were asked and he got 2 answers. So I was wrong. I will omit the 2nd question and response since it is not of concern. The issue lies within the first question and response. The issue which has stirred up controversy is that the answer to the first question is non sequitur (i.e. the answer does not follow logically, the question).

Here is the question by the poster:

When you say that "Many customers have received them." are you referring to average consumers who purchased them online?

Here is Lorraine's response:

Thousands.

Logically, she should have answered with "Yes" or "No" or given a breakdown of what customers received them.

Anyways, there are at least three possible conclusions:

Possible Conclusion #1: Lorraine was confused and answered the question inappropriately thinking she was reading something else

Possible Conclusion #2: Lorraine wanted to get the hopes up of the poster by posting Thousands, and allowing him to draw up conclusions as to what "Thousands" meant (i.e. as in, thousands of average customers received the NP-1)

Possible Conclusion #3: The response or question was edited. I am 99.9% sure that this is not an edited question or response after much discussion in PMs.

Unfortunately, this poor response is now cannon fodder and is being used to tarnish the company.

The truth as was stated by Aaron at the 11giraffe's presentation (to dealers about the NP-1), is that as of about 2 and a half weeks ago, only 50 NP-1 prototypes exist (mostly at NTEK and a few in the hands of testers so they say). In his presentation slides which can be found on the youtube video, he stated that 7,000+ NP-1 Preorders were made. He did not give the pre-order count on the NP-C. However, he stated that in the current production run, 8,500 NP-1's were OTW. 1,500 NP-C's were OTW. He stated (roughly 2 and a half weeks ago), that they would be arriving within 4 weeks. A realistic timeline. A realistic production order. Not 20,000 units like some claimed. Silly since there has been very little far reaching online/TV promotion of the NP-1.

It was stated by others that smaller production runs may have already been made before this, possibly delivering NP-1s to retailers or even our TV maker(s) who are integrating NP-1s into their TVs. It could be that these big customers are what Lorraine was referring to when she spoke of 1,000s (as in 1,000s of NP-1s were delivered to Best Buy stores etc...just an example, not fact). Technically a big retailer is a customer in that sense. Possible, but I won't speculate.

Anyways, I was wrong. There was a question in fact with a response. Unfortunately, we are left with a strange and mysterious response to completely different but legitimate question, leaving us all in doubt. I leave it here.
