Was it a fraud, or just did it fail. I see no reason to raise a big red flag over a failure from many years back as a reason to not buy the stock. But you may do and that is your choice.

I am satisfied with my DD and have seen many more questionable actions that I have looked into and am content with the answers that I have found.

I will remain invested, you may or may not, that is your choice.
