Consider that the major investment companies. Smith Barney, and so on. Do charge 50 dollar commisions. Have seen it in my dads accounts of ivestments he makes. He recently bought 200 shares of CLNE at 9.00 and the commision was 62.00.

I can only laugh sometimes. So what ever Scottrade commision I sometimes pay over the 7 dollar advertised. Is chump change compared to an investment firm broker. One can easily blow 7 bucks at a bar for 1 drink.
