so, it looks like everyone who posted so far pays about 20% to 30% in income tax.
Do you think that if there were no income tax, that your salary might be 20% to 30% lower ??
Just like living in NYC or CALI, one's salary is higher to match the higher cost of things in the area.

I think it all balances out and am just happy to live nicely and have some savings for retirement.

Try living in another country and see how quickly you miss America ... hahahahaa!!! .. Miss America.
