X, says it "works". However, Tom Zelibor makes a statement somewhat to the contrary:

"the photonic industry has had the desire to find an inexpensive, reliabe and easy to fabricate replacement for more exotic inorganic crytalline materials. He [Dr. Frederick Goetz] was looking for a viable alternative to those materials that would be much cheaper, faster and easier to produce than incumbent technologies"

CEOCFO: Did you find it?

"We are getting closer all the time. The company is closer now than we have ever been." -Zelibor

Maybe X is partially correct. It may work but does it work well enough to be commercially viable?

I am sure if you would have asked Tom Zelibor the same question one or two years ago he would have responded with a similar answer ("we are getting closer all the time. The company is closer now than we have ever been.").

We are NOT there yet. The question becomes how long will it take us to get there OR will we ever get to the finish line? That is what is open to debate.

On the flip side, Tom seems pretty confident:

"We think we are a bargain, and once we get things across the finish line and moving forward, we are not going to be a bargain anymore"

If he is this confident, why are insiders NOT buying??

GATES.
